Valerie traveled to Brussels last Thursday to visit the European Parliament. She was runner up in the European Innovation prize for women farmers- Congratulations Valerie!!!

Going Back to Our Roots!

We will be starting at the Mahon Point Farmers Market in Cork tomorrow. We will have lots of nice goodies like old-fashioned lemonade, smoothies, ice-cream, butter and milk. Hope you can make it!

At last night’s state dinner in Dublin Castle, in honour of the visit of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, a beautiful menu was created with the inclusion of Glenilen Farm’s milk, butter, cream and creme fraiche. We are delighted to say that we won the Best Food & Drink award at the SFA (Small Firms Association) National Small Business Awards 2011 this evening. Really honoured to have won this award.

Glenilen Farm has won the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Award in the Agriculture, Food & Drink Category for Munster. Glenilen Farm will now compete in the national finals and results will be announced in Mid April. Wish us good luck.
